SEMINAR: BUSTING MYTHS ABOUT GREEN SKILLS
Are you interested in the green and digital transitions, and their relevance in the context of education and labour market policies in the EU's neighbouring countries? In this session we will delve into dispelling common misconceptions around green skills, such as whether they are exclusively designed for people in the environmental sector or whether they are only accessible to economically prosperous nations. We will also focus on the importance of green skills in existing jobs, the costs associated with their acquisition and application, and whether they are limited to highly skilled professionals or to specific sectors. The guest speakers are Markus Janser, Institute for Labour Market and Vocational Training Research (IAB), Germany, and Romain Boitard, European Training Foundation.
