Resources for a strategically green pizza
Objective: To create an engaging activity to make participants aware of the resources needed to set up a green strategy, The activity is a group game with cooperating teams that is fun and serves to break the ice and promote collaboration.
Instructions:
1. Divide the participants into 3 teams, each team is assigned a task:
team 1 is responsible for identifying needs
team 2 is responsible for identifying the people needed to meet the needs indicated by team 1
team 3 is responsible for identifying the financial resources needed to meet the needs indicated by team 1
2. Give the plenary the objective of the session: planning a green strategy to prepare pizzas for 50 people
3. At this point, the teams begin to develop their tasks (approx. 15 minutes)
Team 1 should identify the ingredients, personnel and time needed to prepare pizzas for 50 participants.
Team 2 starts to develop strategies for internal and external resources according to the green philosophy.
Team 3 starts elaborating strategies for finding financial resources according to the green philosophy.
4. The group returns to the plenary and each team presents the result of its work and highlights the critical points it has addressed.
5. The plenary group prepares a table in which for each need identified by team 1 and validated by the plenary session, financial and team resources are allocated and green practices that can be implemented are identified.
6. At the end of the creation of this chart, participants are invited to introduce green topics that are related to the preparation of pizza for 50 people (waste management, waste recycling, etc.)
7. Reflect in plenary on the module themes and introduce the objectives of the learning module.
