Introduction & Learning objectives

In their communication with stakeholders (colleagues, students, other institutions), many vocational education and training institutions still prefer to focus on the importance of didactic content concepts. Yet, many of those institutions aknowledge that they could arouse fresh interest in their students by addressing other, newer and more current topics too.

Our internal research among different VET participants showed that the point of "accurate and accessible information" in relation to the green strategy of the VET Institution is particularly challenging: in general, they agree that there is a lot of room for potential improvement in it. Also, given the importance of this topic in society, many institutions could benefit by improving their internal and external communication strategy on sustainability with their stakeholders, thus contributing to creating a better and fairer information policy.
